This is an excellent text and ideal for the students that I teach, all of whom undertake a review of literature as an element of their research projects, and many of whom will carry out an extended review of literature as a project in its own right. Gary's book is almost unique in addressing both of these actions. It is expertly informed, immensely readable, and invaluable to the novice researcher in the social sciences.

Useful book for level 5 and 6 students
The author manages to breakdown a rather detailed process into manageable morsels which students of all levels can manage. He does not shy away from using AI in a responsible way. He offers guidance from start to end of the LR process.
