What Every Principal Should Know About Cultural Leadership

March 2014 | 144 pages | Corwin
The second in its series, What Every Principal Should Know About Cultural Leadership recognizes that culture is the glue that holds a school together and that positive school culture contributes to student success. The headteacher plays a big role as cultural leader, and effects school culture in every aspect of the job - from leading with a strong and positive vision to creating a safe, appreciative, and respectful campus climate.

Learn how to be a cultural leader in supervising and working with staff, interacting with parents, sharing with students, and ultimately creating a culture in which students can excel.

Best-selling author, Jeffrey Glanz, offers the essentials for new and aspiring headteachers and reminds current headteachers about what it means to be an effective cultural leader.
