This book offers a good overview but I have used it as 'supplemental' on my course as it is now 11 years old and legislation and guidance has moved on... However, that said, it does illuminate a breadth of issues.
As the range of support needs grows within FE this is a useful and supportive resource.
A useful textbook for all those involved in main stream and special education.
This is a well written resource and would provide excellent reference point for learner undertaking the special educational needs optional units.
