It is a great book that offers Intro to statistististics, and data analysis using R for social scientists. To complement the book, I intend to modify some codes to demonstrate the tidyverse approach.
Not adopted at the general reading list, but I recommend it to students planning to use R
This is a very good read for students interested in a more quantitative approach to big data in media studies.
Still to make some changes to our course scope, but this is a perfect book.
