Easy to read, helps to meet learning outcomes for module
This book was a pleasure to read with information presented in a clear and concise way. The prompt questions through out were also very useful. I would definitely recommend that this text is offered on a reading list for all students studying public health.
A good text, offers students an introduction to the concepts of Public Health. Good depth, and will offer students practical interventions into effective, innovative practice. Overall an interesting relevant text.
This book is well written, informative and easy to understand.
Well structured text covering concepts in Public Health and Health Promotion activities. The chapters on epidemiology and building evidence-based practice and evaluation are well written. Throughout the book the use of 'green boxes' to illustrate examples or highlight key points has been well thought out. A very good read.
