Good, up to date, UK specific text considering public health policy and practice. Particularly useful for underpinning core elements of public health nursing generally and taking practice forward through leadership development. Critical analysis approach towards different frameworks supports identification of suitability for different areas within public health practice and stimulate debate.

This book is very well laid out and easy to read. Student Health Visitors will find this book particularly useful and relevant for their role in assessing and promoting the health and wellbeing of children, young people and families.
