SAGE signs up with IIM Rohtak to bring forth a scholarly Case Research Journal from January 2018

September 4, 2017: The leading independent, academic and professional publisher, SAGE Publications is pleased to announce the publication of a world class Case Research Journal in association with IIM Rohtak, the 8th IIM, established under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

The agreement was signed between Mr Vivek Mehra, MD and CEO, SAGE Publications, India and Prof Dheeraj Sharma, Director, IIM Rohtak. The journal will publish decision-based cases in the domain of business in India and will be bi-annual. The first issue of the journal is expected to be published in January 2018 as an open access journal. The Editor-in-Chief of the journal will be Prof Dheeraj Sharma, Director IIM-Rohtak.

Talking about the association, Prof Dheeraj Sharma, Director, IIM Rohtak and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal said, “Cases set in western countries are not always relevant in the Indian context and there is a pressing need for curating cases set in the Indian context. This will be of utility not only to case instructors and students but also to global corporations which plan to expand their operations to India.”
