This is a very well written and useful text. I have seen some very good ideas and will use these with future required situation as a teacher. I would recommend this to teachers in training or need help with Students with ALN.

As background information for planning lectures this is a very informative book. A large part of it is dedicated to activities and lessons for delivering a multisensory approach to teaching. This would be ideal for teachers and other practitioners.

Excellent book for research
Clear and informative, accessible and well laid out. The authors put the reader at ease by use of clear language and terminology is explained. Subheadings are used to guide the reader.
I wish I’d had access to it years ago . The text is very readable whilst being underpinned by relevant and recent research and literature and it is obvious that the writers write from a depth of experience and are current in their knowledge of the subject area.
A must have for the BDA APS/ATS course. Looking forward to the next book from the same authors.

Absolutely essential! I recommended this to students who had completed my MA Dyslexia course last year and it was gratefully received. I am using it as a core text for the British Dyslexia Association's professional awards: Approved Teacher Status and Approved Practitioner Status. A very useful book.

Excellent up-to-date book with clear guidance on developing a flexible multisensory literacy intervention.
This was intersting from a personal point of view as a dyslexic. Wec are adopting enhancement modules in our re validated course so this will be a recommemded one for that module
