A very helpful and informative book, often recommended to students
A third and much-improved edition of a book which was very good to start with. New chapters on several subjects provide a welcome addition. A must-have book for trainees in counselling psychology, counselling and psychotherapy. My only gripe with this book are the chapters on writing a client case study and writing a process report: these are too focussed on theory and not enough on the presentation of the actual client, and in my opinion would benefit from rewriting.
