Excellent read for students on Foundation Degree Programmes
this book covers different themes that relate to policy and theoretical perspectives around changing families and practice when working with children and young people. This will be excellent for a book review assignment for one of our modules that covers aspects of families and the influences of policy and society have on the outcomes for children and young people.

Very useful text for those course that include work with parents and families
The book proved popular with last years Yr 2 cohort and is being strongly recommended to current students as it has content which relates directly to all Yr 2 modules and most yr 1 modules plus the writing styles across the chapters are excellent and the conpact segments format stikes a chord with busy students Module reading lists are set by the university from which we franchise the programme and were not revised this year but college staff will work to ensure it is made a key text at the next revision opportunity
