Sets practice placements in a contextual framework
I really enjoyed this book, very easy to read and a must for anyone wishing to explore the theory of social work and social care practice. It gives an in depth account of the ethical underpinnings of both disciplines essentially asking students to reflect on why it is they have chosen to follow this career path.
I have taken material from this book and included them in my power point presentations and will order some copies for our library. I am recommending that the students look at it in terms of supplemental reading.
