A really helpful entry point into issues in Learning Disabilities with overview of key concepts and signposts for deeper reading and understanding. Would be useful for those beginning a career in LD as an introduction, or a reference point for others in health and social care who may require more of an overview of specific topics.

For students unfamiliar with the area the book had essential information in an easy format. An up to date and useful resource bringing together relevant information for practitioners from a variety of health and social care backgrounds.
Wil recommend this book for supplementary reading to the students studying on the Inclusive Education module on the BA Education Studies programme.
