The Journal of Educational Technology Systems deals with systems in which technology and education interface and is designed to inform educators who are interested in making optimum use of technology.

More importantly, the Journal focuses on techniques and curriculum that utilize technology in all types of educational systems. Description of actual classroom practice and experimentation with the educational use of technology is an equally important aspect of the Journal.

The Journal of Educational Technology Systems publishes high-quality original papers that focus on how technology impacts education. • Journal of Educational Technology Systems - Instructions to Authors

The Journal of Educational Technology Systems uses a web-based submission and review process (http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/jets). Authors should carefully prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the following instructions.

    Preparing the Manuscript

We suggest that authors use the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th edition) as a guide for preparing manuscripts for submission. All manuscript pages, including reference lists and tables, must be typed double-spaced, using a legible font at least 11-point in size.
The submission should be prepared as a series of files:
        1) the manuscript, which contains the body of the submission;
        2) all tables, in one file, and
        3) all figures, in separate files.

Manuscript: The manuscript itself should be prepared as follows.

    • The first page of the paper (the title page) should contain the article title, the names and affiliations of all authors, authors’ notes or acknowledgments, and the names and complete mailing addresses of the corresponding author. If requesting a masked anonymize review, the first page should contain only the article title and the title page should be uploaded as a separate document.

    • The second page should contain an abstract of no more than 150 words and five to seven keywords that will be published following the abstract.

    • Endnotes. Notes should appear on a separate page before the References section. Notes should be numbered consecutively and each endnote should be referred to in text with a corresponding superscript number.

    • References. Text citations and references should follow the style of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th edition).

Tables: A separate file should be created for all Tables. Each table should be fully titled and double-spaced on a separate page. Tables should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals. Footnotes to tables should be identified with superscript lowercase letters and placed at the bottom of the table. All tables should be referenced in the text, which should also indicate where the tables should appear.

Figures: Electronic copies of figures should be uploaded separately in one of the following file formats: TIFF, EPS, JPEG, or PDF. All figures should be referred to in text. Each figure should appear on a separate page at the end of the manuscript but before the tables, and all titles should appear on a single, separate page.

    Submitting the Manuscript
Submissions are made through Sage Publication's web-based manuscript submission system at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/jets.
    1. Create an account, if you do not already have one.
    2. Login with your account, and go to the Author Center. Follow the instructions to enter the author information and upload your submission.
    3. After following all of the steps, click on the Submit button. Shortly after submitting, authors will receive an automatically generated acknowledgement by email. This email message will provide the manuscript number and website link to use for checking the status of the submission, submitting revisions, and contacting the editors.

    Revising the Manuscript
At any time that you need to submit a revision, please use the Revise Submission feature at the website link provided in your acknowledgement email. Please do not upload your revision as if it were a new manuscript. Uploading revised manuscripts as if they were new manuscripts only delays the review and decision process. If you need assistance, please email the Associate Editor assigned to your manuscript or the Editor.
