The Journal of Current Oncology intends to cover all aspects of cancer biology, research, therapeutics and prevention. Some cancer therapies are also shifting from a tissue-specific focus to an oncogenetic pathway specific one. Developments in these new paradigms have a long way to go and it is a critical time for the field. Both patient volume and research in this field are increasing rapidly as are diagnostic and prognostic tests, targeted treatments and new practice patterns.

This Journal aspires to keep its readers abreast with high quality research work, scientific innovation, clinical Practice and surgical techniques using this open access platform. Articles are freely accessible online in perpetuity under a Creative Commons license. Issues from Vol 1, Issue 1 2018 to Vol 5, Issue 1, 2022 are available at https://www.journalofcurrentoncology.org/backissues.asp.

It is the official publication of Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, a unit of Indraprastha Cancer Society & Research Center. It is a bi-annual journal meant for oncologists and medical professionals.

The Journal of Current Oncology is an open access, peer reviewed journal that aims to highlight the advances in Cancer Biology and management through an optimal mix of review articles, original research, case reports, letter to editors, resident pages and vignettes from frontline research. It is released biannually in an open access manner and goes through double- anonymized peer review process. It shall provide its contributors the benefit of review of their work by renowned experts and its reader with the authentic, well researched and reviewed information on all aspects of cancer.

Aims & Scope
1. To provide contemporary information in Oncology.
2. To highlight diverse spheres of Research in Oncology.
3. To provide young and experienced scientists / clinicians a platform to publish their research in a peer reviewed open access journal for worldwide readership.
4. To deliver solutions to multifaceted problems confronted routinely in the practice of oncology from screening to survivorship.
