Not only is this a must read book. It is a must do action plan for every global manager and company. - Clyde V Prestowitz, former Chief Trade Negotiator during the Reagan Administration, USA

It is an attempt to show how independent-thinking managers, using basic economic tools, can track the three elements that together drive the world’s complex and somewhat unstable economic system—minds, markets, and money. Written in an anecdotal style, the book is packed with case studies covering major episodes of risk and crisis and extended globally-managed Indian companies. The book is accompanied by a DVD that further illustrates all concepts through video lectures and PowerPoint slides.

Global risk / Global Opportunity is about macro-economics and essentially develops 10 tools drawn from that discipline for practising managers. The many years of teaching and consulting experience of authors is reflected in the pragmatism and simplicity of the tools they have developed…[The book] would be highly useful reading for practising business managers, particularly those without formal training in macro-economics, and for management students.

ASCI Journal of Management

The book has 50 lucidly written case studies which help in understanding the tools suggested by the authors for tracking global opportunities. The book contributed significantly in conveying the paradigm shift in the mind of any business manager that is so vital to forecast future patterns and developments… On the whole, it is a well-written book dealing with a subject which should be of great interest to all business managers.
