This is an excellent introductory text in Adult Nursing which provides a valuable contribution to foundational knowledge of the complexities of nursing adults.

Dianne Burns, BSc(Hons) Nurse Practitioner, MSc (Clinical Leadership), PGCert T&L,  RGN, RNT, SFHEA, is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing at the University of Manchester She is the Programme Director of the PG Cert in Medical and Health Education and Academic Lead of the Advance HE LEAP and Staff Development Programme within the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health She also leads the postgraduate Leadership in Professional Practice module within the Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work.
