The authors focus on ethics in the entire research process. The book does not only pay attention to the people who participate in scientific
research, the 'subjects'. Other ethical issues such as relevance of the research question, competence of the researchers, and also handling data, are discussed in detail. At the same time the authors have managed to give a clear structure to the book, from which specific topics can be easily retrieved.

An essential text to update assumptions and understanding around ethics in educational research
Useful book for those undertaking education research, only not adopted as the students who were thinking of studying education/learning as a dissertation did not do so. As a teacher I will look at using it to help develop my own research ideas.
