Tamar Heller, Ph.D., is Professor and Head of the Department of Disability & Human Development at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also directs the Rehabilitation Research & Training Center on Aging with Developmental Disabilities, the Advanced Training for Disability & Rehabilitation Scholars program, and projects on support interventions for individuals with disabilities and their families. She also directs the University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities for the State of Illinois. Sarah Parker, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Disability and Human Development at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
