Edwin Andrew Afari

Prof. Col. Edwin Andrews Afari (Rtd.) is an Epidemiologist and Specialist in Public Health. He is the Coordinator for the MPhil in Applied Epidemiology and Disease Control/GFELTP at the School of Public Health, University of Ghana. He has over 30 years’ experience in public health practice and teaching. He was a Commanding Officer at the 37 Military Hospital and a Scientist at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, Legon.




Afrooz Afghani

Professor Afghani's education, research, and teaching experience in the last two decades integrate the disciplines of clinical and preventive medicine, kinesiology, nutrition, human physiology, and epidemiology. Dr. Afghani earned her MPH from UCLA and her PhD from the University of Southern California with a dual focus in Kinesiology and Epidemiology. At USC, she also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Preventive Medicine. Currently, Dr.
