Linda Abarbanell is a cultural psychologist who studies the relationship between language, culture, and cognition. She has published cross-cultural studies on the relationship between spatial language and cognition, the development of scientific and supernatural beliefs, and moral reasoning. Her recent work focuses on health care beliefs and practices at the U.S.–Mexico border.
