ANTYAJAA—Exploring inequality and social change from the perspective of marginalized women

11 July 2016: SAGE in collaboration with Apne Aap Women Worldwide launched the first issue of Antyajaa: Indian Journal of Women and Social Change in the presence of Prof Ruchira Gupta, Journal Editor, Antyajaa and Professor, New York University; Ms Juanita Kakoty, Associate Editor, Antyajaa and other dignitaries from the Editorial Board of the journal at Oxford Bookstore, Connaught Place.




Edlyne E. Anugwom

Dr. Edlyne E. Anugwom is a professor of sociology and development at the University of Nigeria and currently Georg Forster Senior Research Fellow of the Humboldt Foundation at the Institute of African Studies, Leipzig University. He has held positions/fellowships in diverse places such as Leiden, Wassenaar, Birmingham, Bridgewater, Edinburgh, Mainz, and Cape Town.

Kenechukwu N. Anugwom

Dr. Kenechukwu N. Anugwom is a senior lecturer in the Department of Social Work of the University of Nigeria. She has a PhD in social gerontology (management and care of breast cancer in elderly women). Her current research interests are in gerontology, trauma, health, HIV/AIDS prevention, reproductive health of older women, migration, and diaspora studies.
