Alongside academia, she is a trustee of the Pelvic Pain Support Network (PPSN), a charity that raises awareness of chronic pelvic pain and supports research in this field. She is a winner of top-up awards “International Postgraduate Research Scholarship with Australian Postgraduate Award (IPRS-APA).” In 2018, she received an honorary academic appointment as an adjunct fellow at School of Nursing and Midwifery at Western Sydney University.
