Sage has an agreement with Jisc for subscribing Jisc institution members to cover open access article processing charges (APCs) for affiliated corresponding authors. The UK Jisc Agreement, open to all UK institutions who are consortium members, will run in 2025. The details of the UK Jisc Agreement are as follows: 

Open Access Prepaid Accounts (OAPAs)

Institutions with an open access prepaid account (OAPA) have a fund with Sage which can be used to cover open access processing charges (APCs) in both gold open access and hybrid journals.

If you are an institution that would like to open an OAPA with Sage, please contact openaccess@sagepub.com.

• Author Discount: As a Sage author you’re entitled to 25% discount on all our books and 35% discount on your own book(s). Discount is negotiable on large bulk purchases.
