A wide ranging book taking a variety of perspectives. This is a great text to challenge students at level 6/7.
New module that includes lots on outdoor play and the environment to compare to international perspectives of play in the curriculum
Strong focus on promoting the outdoor environment and all it offers. Sue Waite demonstrates her enthusiasm by guiding us through the nature of outdoor learning and the benefits to us all. The wealth of information from respected individuals, leads us on a journey of discovery, that even the most die hard traditionalists would be hard pressed to question. Having links to research, that I possibly would not of known about, has been valuable in my quest to encourage practitioners to embrace the outdoor environment and all the magic it holds.
A good book with a combination of theory, case studies and practical ideas to keep you reflecting on practice.
