This book is an important resource for anyone wishing to use their CBT training with clients presenting personality disorders.
'I really like this book and strongly recommend that you read it. As a clinician and educator in CBT I think this book has a lot to offer. It will meet the needs of the beginning CBT practitioners and provide welcome revision and extension of knowledge for the more experienced practitioner. This useful text provides an excellent balance of theory related to clinical practice. It was refreshing to see the authors provide a focus on behavioural theory and practice alongside the ubiquitous cognitive concepts and practice found in most other texts on this subject. There is a pleasing (and clinically useful) amount of "B" in "CBT for Personality Disorders.'

An interesting text on how CBT can be used when working with personality issues. This is certainly a challenge that needs particular attention and would be useful for psychotherapists in any clinical setting.
Easy to read and systematic. The great book to introduce how CBT can cure personality disorders
Excellent for those wishing to specialise
Good material for working with this group. Will be using this for written material for next fall
Very useful for the mental health team workers giving an excellent overview of the role of CBT in the growing area of personality disorders.
An interesting text to support practice when working with clients with personality disorders. Would have liked it to be more formulation based in deciding interventions as teaching students in this way, therefore suggested as supplementary reading as information on personality disoreds helpful specifically. More useful to the post basic CBT course members.
An excellent overview of the relationship between the various Cognitive and Behavioural interventions which can be engineered to facilitate recovery from, and the inter-relationship between various personality disorders. Replete with schematic overviews, treatment plans and case study analysis - highly recommended for those embarking on a CBT career!
Gives clear outline on the use of CBT for personality disorders, especially written by CBT practitioners.
