Jennifer Miller California State University, Los Angeles, USA
Dr. Jennifer Miller currently serves as the dean of students at California State University, Los Angeles. In her role, she provides leadership, strategic planning, and assessment for various departments including the Center for Student Involvement, Office for Students with Disabilities, Student Health Center, Student Conduct Office, and the Student Support Center. She came to California State University, Los Angeles, from California State University Channel Islands (CI), where she was director of student affairs assessment, research, and staff development. While at CI, she led the Assessment Council for the Division of Student Affairs and designed and implemented the Professional Staff Training Program. Prior to her tenure at CI, she served as the director of the Wellbeing, Empowerment, Life, and Learning (WELL) Office at the University of California, Riverside (UC Riverside) and oversaw residence education programs and initiatives at the University of Michigan. She holds a PhD in education from Claremont Graduate University. She currently serves as a National Association of Student Affairs Professionals (NASPA) National Undergraduate Fellows Program (NUFP) and Region VI board member
