This text is not accessible enough for our students. They are on an engineering course, but some need to understand qualitative research methods for thesis work. A more direct, less wordy text may be more appropriate for us. Further, the language used seems sometimes to be rather convoluted, dry and dense. The text includes long complicated sentences, so it feels as if it is a translation from the german language (the way the word 'also' is used suggests to me that it is).

Chapter objectives are really good in summarising the chapters. Key points and case studies help consolidate the learning. Exercises at the end of the chapters help in reflection and consolidation of learning. Further reading is useful and tables help with summaries of the chapters
