A noted political scientist and a constitutional expert, Professor Amal Kumar Mukhopadhyay is a product of Presidency College (now Presidency University), Kolkata, and the London School of Economics and Political Science, London. Professor Mukhopadhyay spent his entire professional career at Presidency College, first as a senior professor and then as the Head of the Department of Political Science.
