The International Journal of Electrical Engineering & Education's (Formerly International Journal of Electrical Engineering Education) origins date back to 1948, when the world’s first stored-programme digital computer ran at the University of Manchester. In 1963, the Bulletin of Electrical Engineering Education evolved into the International Journal of Electrical Engineering Education (IJEEE).

The International Journal of Electrical Engineering & Education is a hybrid, broad-scope international journal that publishes research across all fundamental, applied, and interdisciplinary areas of electrical engineering and its education. Building on its longstanding commitment to advancing electrical engineering education, IJEEE places particular emphasis on the intersection of electrical engineering education and technology.
IJEEE invites submissions including:
- High-quality, scientifically sound research highlighting emerging technologies in electrical engineering. Papers presenting negative or null findings, incremental advancements, and replication studies are also welcomed.
• Articles describing the practical development and implementation of laboratory equipment.
• Project reports, case studies, and research on innovative technologies used in electrical engineering education. - Studies exploring the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning in electrical engineering teaching and learning.
IJEEE publishes original research articles, review articles and short reports. All papers in the journal are peer reviewed.
